Spiritual growth is a vital part of our mission as a Jesuit parish. We embrace lifelong learning and development as integral to our personal and communal relationship with God. In fact, Ignatius of Loyola began as a layperson to guide others with the Spiritual Exercises and teach catechism long before the official founding of the Society of Jesus in 1540 (The First Jesuits; John O’Malley, 1993).

The Ignatian Solidarity Network is offering daily emailed reflections throughout all of Lent.

Dialogue with the Word
On Saturdays at 6 pm, September through May, people desiring to better understand the Sunday readings gather online to discuss, pray, and reflect on them. The facilitator offers some insight into the texts and participants explore their application to life. If you would like to experience Scripture in a small group with people who sincerely wish to live its message, consider attending Dialogue With The Word. No advanced notice or preparation is required; just connect with Carla Mae Streeter, OP at streeter@slu.edu to receive the link.
