Engagement Opportunities!
We invite you to be part of parish life! There are many opportunities, some are listed below:
Greeter/Ushers for Mass
Greeter/Ushers are needed to serve at each of our weekend Masses. Their role involves warmly greeting people and giving them a bulletin as they arrive, as well as helping with the offertory collection.
Lectors
Lectors are needed, especially at 5:15 pm Mass on Saturday evening and 8 am Mass on Sunday morning, to proclaim the Word.
Eucharistic Ministers
Eucharistic ministers are needed to help with the distribution of communion at Masses.
Acolyes/Servers
Our Acolytes serve an important role assisting the presider during Mass. They also serve as sacristans before and after Mass. Prior experience as a Eucharistic Minister is helpful in this role.
Singers/Musicians
We have a choir for 10:30 am Mass on Sundays. We welcome new members! The 10:30 Mass choir rehearses on Wednesdays at 7:30 pm.
Religious Education assistants and babysitters
We provide religious education classes for Kindergarten through 8th grade on Sundays from 9:15 to 10:20 am. We also offer babysitting for young children on Sunday mornings during 10:30 am Mass.
Outreach Program
For our ID and birth certificate program, we need volunteers who can give three hours a week on Tuesday mornings in our Ballroom to assist guests who need to obtain a US birth certificate or Missouri state ID. You can learn more here.
Winter Inn Emergency Shelter
We are also looking for volunteers for our Winter Inn program, which operates during the winter months when the low temperature is below 25 degrees. You can learn more here.
College Church Young Professionals (CCYP)
CCYP is made up of young adults between the ages of 22 and 40 who gather to build community and deepen their faith. They meet twice a month - once for prayer and reflection, once for socializing.

Our Christian Initiation program offers the opportunity to learn more about the Catholic faith and to prepare for the sacraments of initiation - baptism, first communion, and confirmation.
