Safe Environment (Protecting God’s Children)
Thank You for Volunteering at St. Francis Xavier College Church
St. Francis Xavier College Church follows the Archdiocese of St. Louis Safe Environment Program (Protecting God’s Children). The program is designed to help protect the youth, elderly, and vulnerable adults of our parish as they participate in activities within our community. This process also provides a layer of protection against the possibility of false accusations for those adults who are involved in our many ministries. If you have any questions, please contact Terry Edelmann at email@example.com or (314) 712-4216.
Anyone who works with or near minors must complete the following:
1. Attend a “Protecting Gods Children” training session.
2. Agree to a background screening that evaluates any history of criminal charges as well as child abuse and neglect.
a. Agree to an additional background screening if you have resided out of state in the past five years.
3. Agree to and sign the Ethical Code of Conduct.
